The lounge of a large open-plan home at dusk: a modular sofa on a wool rug, a hidden line of warm Oberon strip light glowing around a recessed ceiling tray, two Chelon spotlights lighting two abstract paintings, a square Murus wall light beside a leather armchair, and wide glass sliding doors open to a timber deck and garden.

Big room. Gentle light.

A hidden line of light in the ceiling, spotlights on the art and a wall light by the reading chair.

A woman stretching on the sofa before dawn in an open-plan lounge, lit only by a low, warm line of Oberon strip light hidden in the ceiling tray, with a coffee on the table and the garden still deep blue beyond the glass doors.

06:30 · First light

Before the house wakes.

Only the line of light in the ceiling is on, dimmed low and warm, so the day can start slowly.

A school-morning scramble in a bright open-plan lounge: a father tying his son's shoe, a girl in a gingham school dress running with her backpack and the mother laughing as she holds out two lunchboxes, with a crisp white line of Oberon strip light in the ceiling tray.

07:30 · The school run

Everyone, out the door.

A crisp white line overhead joins the morning daylight, bright enough that every lost shoe turns up.

Tunable white

Crisp while there's work to do. Warm once it's done.

The same hidden line of Oberon moves from cool, clear white to soft, warm light as the evening goes on, without changing a single fitting.

A couple on the sofa after dark, looking at a laptop together, under crisp cool white light from the Oberon strip hidden in the ceiling tray.

2700K, warm white

Tunable white adjusts from 6500K to 2700K.

Also available in a fixed 2700K, 3000K or 4000K.

The day winds down. So does the light.

A family of four under a throw on the sofa sharing popcorn on movie night, the room dark except for a low, warm line of Oberon strip light glowing around the ceiling tray.

Fri 20:30 · Movie night

Down to a glow.

Dimmed right down, the line of light in the ceiling glows warm and low: enough to find the popcorn, never enough to wash out the screen.

A woman in her sixties reading a hardback in a leather armchair at night, lit by a square Murus wall light sending one fan of warm light up the wall and another down onto her book, beside closed sheer linen curtains.

Fri 21:30 · The reading chair

A corner to yourself.

One Murus wall light, just 85 x 85mm across, sends a soft fan of light up the wall and another down onto the page, so the rest of the room can stay dim.

A family on a Saturday afternoon in an open-plan lounge: a father and young son building a wooden train track on the rug, a girl drawing on her stomach, and the mother laughing on the sofa, with the glass doors open to the garden and a hidden line of cool white Oberon strip light glowing in the ceiling tray.

Sat 15:00 · Saturday afternoon

Daylight, topped up.

On a grey afternoon, a hidden line of Oberon in the ceiling tray tops up the daylight with one even, dot-free wash at CRI 90, so the whole floor is bright enough to play on.

Friends over for drinks on a Saturday night, curtains drawn: a couple and a tall man in glasses talking on the sofa while a woman in a teal wrap dress stops to look at a painting lit by a Chelon spotlight, with a warm line of Oberon strip light in the ceiling tray and a Murus wall light glowing beside the art.

Sat 19:30 · Friends over

The wall everyone stops at.

With the Chelon spotlights on the paintings and the ceiling line turned warm, the art becomes the first thing guests ask about.

A woman with a glass of red wine studying an abstract painting on a warm-white art wall, each of the two paintings lit by its own Chelon recessed spotlight, its white head tilted toward the wall, with the ceiling tray glowing low above.

Sat 22:30 · After they've gone

Every brushstroke, true.

A Chelon spotlight in front of each painting lights it at CRI 90. Hang something new and the head turns within its housing to follow it, with no ceiling work.

Beam angles

Narrow or wide.

Beam angles of 24° and 36°: a tight pool for a small canvas, or a wider wash for a big one.

Diagram of one downlight with its 24° and 36° beams drawn to scale on a wall.
Late at night with the curtains drawn, a man in a t-shirt and track pants collects two empty wine glasses from the coffee table, the room lit only by a faint warm line of Oberon strip light in the ceiling tray.

Sat 23:30 · Last one up

The light at a whisper.

The ceiling line turned right down, curtains drawn: just enough light to collect the last glasses and head to bed.

Control

Every scene, one system.

The ceiling line, the spotlights and the wall light can all run on DALI-2, so Saturday, art night and movie night are each one scene away.

How DALI-2 works

A couple standing arm in arm on the rug at dusk, smiling up at the warm line of Oberon strip light in the ceiling tray, with Chelon spotlights on the paintings, a Murus wall light glowing and the glass doors open to the garden.

Sunday · The renovation

Built to stay.

Every light in this room is rated for 50,000 hours or more and backed by a 5‑year warranty, so the light you chose is the light you keep.
