General installation

Avoiding damage during installation

Wrong: the strip is pulled up and the self adhesive tape is left stuck to the surface
Wrong Strip pulled up, tape left behind
Right: the self adhesive tape is pulled up together with the strip
Right Tape pulled up with the strip

If the strip needs to be pulled up for repositioning, ensure that the self adhesive tape is also pulled to avoid damaging the strip.

Don't bend the strip sideways across its width; the bend is circled in red
Don't Bend
Don't kink the strip; the kink is circled in red
Don't Bend
Don't fold the strip around a sharp corner; the fold is circled in red
Don't Bend
Don't twist the strip along its length
Don't Twist

When handling the strip, ensure to not bend or twist the strip to avoid cracking the solder points and damaging the LEDs
