Alfresco lighting
The Alfresco lit by tunable
Light for the longest evenings.
The house, the garden, the night.
Wall lights on the house, spotlights in the garden and a line of light under the bench.
05:45 · First light
Coffee before the swim.
The deck in the half-light, a warm Hyperion 10 line under the bench, and the whole day ahead.
Tunable white
Out at dawn. Home by dusk.
Crisp daylight white for an early start, warm amber for a slow evening, from the same wall light on the house.
Tunable white adjusts from 6500K to 2700K.
Also available in a fixed 3000K or 4000K.
Leave the day at the back door.
19:00 · Dusk
The gums come on.
As the sky fades, small Marey spotlights at the foot of the gum and the grass trees switch on, and the garden stays part of the evening.
19:30 · Closer
Bring the garden into the evening.
A small Marey spotlight on a ground spike tilts up to wash the gum and the grass trees. Choose 30°, 45° and 60° beams, in 2700K, 3000K, 4000K.
21:00 · Night swim
Lengths by the light.
Warm light up and down the brick from two Vermeer wall lights, and a line of Hyperion 16 under the coping glowing whatever colour the night calls for.
IP65
Rain on the deck. Light on the wall.
Sealed for outdoor walls, so the lights by the pool keep shining through a summer storm.
Sat 18:45 · The barbecue
Light for the cook, and the crowd.
A Vermeer wall light either side of the sliders sends light up the brick and down over the deck, and a low line of light runs under the kitchen and the bench.
Sat 21:00 · Guests
The light everyone asks about.
It's the line under the bench they notice: one straight, even glow along the seat, with no dots and no gaps.
Sat 23:40 · After everyone’s gone
The right light for a quiet moment together.
The guests are gone and everything else is off. Only a low line of Hyperion 10 glowing under the seat, just enough to linger over the last cup. Sealed to IP67, it lives outdoors all year.
Control
One deck, one system.
Wall lights, garden spotlights and neon can all run on DALI-2, so they dim together and can be set into scenes for the barbecue, dinner and late at night.
Sunday · The renovation
The best room in the house is outside.
Every light out here is rated for 50,000 hours or more and backed by a 5‑year warranty, so the deck you finished stays the deck you love.
